Internal support includes:  
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) - the EAP provides a free confidential 24-hour helpline providing support with stress and anxiety, counselling, family issues, bereavement, financial wellbeing, childcare support, relationship advice, legal information, medical information, tenancy and housing concerns, alcohol and drug issues and consumer issues. Teach First will not know that you have used this service. Learn more on the intranet
  • Mental Health First Aiders - Our trained Mental Health first Aiders are available for an informal and confidential chat if you need to reach out to someone.Mental Health First Aiders 
  • Wellbeing Hub – our Wellbeing Hub gathers together many of the resources which are available to Teach First employees. We also have a Specialised Support section which includes support information aligned with specific protected characteristics. 

There is also external support available, our 'Other Support Available' section gives a list of organisations who can provide specialised support depending on your needs.
